SCH HOL Recycled Timber Bug Hotel

Service Description

Calling all young builders and nature lovers! Join us for a hands-on, 1.5-hour workshop where kids get to build their very own bug hotel to take home for garden critters! Using upcycled timber—like old fence palings, natural branch pieces, and hollow bamboo—participants will craft a cozy, multi-story haven for beneficial insects. Young makers will get real woodworking experience hammering plenty of nails, using a hand saw and using a battery drill (under close adult supervision) to drill entry holes for native bees and bugs. It’s a fun, rewarding session packed with practical skills, creativity, and eco-friendly fun—spaces are limited, so book your spot today!
